120 Schools Compete in the 2026 Jakarta Robotic Games

The Indonesian Robotics Association (PRSI) of Jakarta held the 2026 Jakarta Robotic Games competition at the Grha Ali Sadikin Building, Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (6/17).

"We want to advance robotics and look for new talents in the world of digital technology, coding, AI, and robotics," he said.
This competition aligns with Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung's mission to make Jakarta a global city. Therefore, Afief hopes this event will improve digital literacy among the younger generation from an early age.
The competition attracted 252 teams from 120 elementary, middle, and high schools in Jakarta. Winners will receive certificates that will be registered with the National Achievement Center.
Students can use the certificate as a pathway to achievement in the new student admissions process in Jakarta. Furthermore, winners will be recommended to participate in national-level competitions.
The competition features 10 categories. For elementary school students, these categories include Coding Robot Application, Line Follower, and Robot Walker.
Meanwhile, at the junior high school level, the categories include Sumo Robot, Soccer Robot, Line Follower, and Creative/Design Robot. At the high school level, the categories competed are Avoid Obstacle and Creative/Design Robot.
The Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency, will also provide support to the winners by providing internship opportunities at Jakarta Smart City and providing training.
The Jakarta Robotic Games 2026 is planned to be held annually. This year, the competition will take place on June 17-18 at Jakarta City Hall and will continue on June 26-28 at the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran.
Meanwhile, the Governor's Cup award ceremony will be held on June 29, 2026. Arief stated that the participants are very enthusiastic about taking part in the 2026 Jakarta Robotic Games competition.
